| Hello! I had to download a copy of MUSHClient to my laptop (which runs Vista, if that matters) after my desktop decided to crap out on me. Now I'm facing an odd problem:
I downloaded the program, loaded it up, and saved my first world. I used to be able to go to 'File -> New World...' (or hit the 'New World' button) and it would offer to load the defaults of a previous world, but it doesn't do that now. I'm not able to open multiple instances of the same world at all unless I save multiple copies of that world.
Is there a setting I need to turn on or off to make that work again?
Thank you! | top |

| That dialog was removed because it was just confusing people.
All it did was make a new world file, copying the (chosen) existing one, which is exactly what you do if you do a "save as" to make another copy.
If you want multiple instances, do a "save as" and then open the copy (or the original as the case may be).
If you want to share things (eg. triggers, aliases) between worlds consider making a plugin, which multiple worlds can then share. There is a plugin wizard to simplify doing that. |

| All the old versions are available on the website if you really wish to stick to an earlier version.
That change was introduced in version 4.76. |
