"Alison's Shabby Chic Quilt"

This was made in the year 2003.

(Width = 146 cm, height = 172 cm.)

Made in July 2003 for Alison and Peter Purcell.

My sister Alison wanted a quilt made in the 'Shabby chic" style so we designed the quilt top together. We had a shopping expedition to the local patchwork shop to choose the fabrics and she also did some independent purchasing to get what she wanted.

The quilt is backed in faux fur to give it a luxurious feel.

Machine pieced. Machine quilted by Carra Mallee quilting and backed with pink faux fur.
