I am attempting to catch a specific trigger and set the values of variables with it. However I cannot get this particular trigger to match.

H:105% [4552/4309] M:102% [2388/2325] B:100% [26300/26300] Exp:36% [] [eb]H:105% [4552/4309] M:102% [2388/2325] B:100% [26300/26300] Exp:36% [] [eb]

it is my prompt (not sure if that is important)

Any help in learning how to catch the values here would be greatly appreciated.

That looks like two prompts on the same line, and my guess is that it looks like an IRE mud prompt. Did you try enabling the "Convert IAC EOR/GA to newline" option in the output screen of your world? That should seperate them on seperate lines more properly, and allow better triggering.

It'd be handy to see what you're trying so that we can explain whats going wrong, rather than just have us write it for you. :)

Please help us by advising:
  • The version of MUSHclient you are using. Use the Help menu -> About MUSHclient.
  • A copy of the trigger, alias or timer you were using (see Copying XML)
  • The output from the MUD that caused the problem
  • The error message, if any, that you got (or other relevant output)
