Guys,
i'm sure you'll laugh at this but i can't rassign rooms.
i ran the checkvnum as per instructions, range 25000 25024
was clear.
type rassign admin 25000 25024 which seems exactly as
per instruction.
all i get is a prompt. no rooms assigned.
Obvjiously I am missing something major. I just installed
the pre compiled version and it seems to be running well.
is there anything i need to do before rassign?
I have forgoten how to do it exactly in a more stock smaug situation, but you could try installing Samson's Vassign snippet as it makes the assignment of vnums a one step approach. Vassign name lownum highnum
Imagine knowing which codebase you're in would help too as SmaugFUSS got vassign added at some point and rassign removed at the same point and I believe that Smaug 1.8 also has this change...

wasn't the problem with that that you had to goto the rooms first so that the mud thought they were there to begin with?
