Click on output window removes cursor from command line / bar

I tried using 4.14 for a while but had to switch back to 4.01 (which was the previous one I had stored). Between these 2 a bug or a nasty feature has appeared:

I have multiple worlds open, and sometimes I swap between them with my mouse instead of ctrl+tab. Also, if I get a URL I paint it with my mouse and get it to open in a browser. If I do this in 4.14, I can't continue typing my next command before I click on the input bar with my mouse, as to activate it. In 4.01 as soon as I just start typing the input bar became active and my typings appear there. Even tried this on a clean Windows without previous MCs installed.

This isn't a bug, but an option. "All typing goes to input window" in the config.

The reason your text doesn't always show up in the input window is because you don't have it highlighted.
