Problems with Exdesc

Having a problem with stock SmaugFUSS 1.8.

When you write a note and save, then reload the character, this happens:


Comm: Loading player data for: Raven (1K)
Log: [*****] BUG: Fread_obj: no match.
Log: [*****] FILE: ../player/r/Raven LINE: 57
Log: [*****] BUG: #EXDESC
Log: [*****] FILE: ../player/r/Raven LINE: 57
Log: [*****] BUG: Load_char_obj: # not found.
Log: [*****] FILE: ../player/r/Raven LINE: 58
Log: [*****] BUG: Raven
Log: [*****] FILE: ../player/r/Raven LINE: 58
Comm: Raven (127.0.0.1) has connected.

Then the object doesn't load.

Fread_obj seems to have all the right stuff for exdesc.

Anyone else have this problem?

When you write a note on a board? Or is it when you edit an exit desc?

When you use "note write". Write your note. Keep it in your inventory and save. Then quit and relog.

Looks like a bug. For things like this, you're better off posting it on the FUSS forums.

Happens any time you try to load an object with an Exdesc that's saved in the pfile.
