colour

Okay I've installed Lope's Colour Code v 2.0 and everything is great except two things.

Whenever anyone talks in a channel (ie say, gossip, immtalk, etc.) the mud crashes.

Whenever someone tries to do anything with a piece of eq that has a colour tag on it the mud crashes.

When it crashes it says that there is a segmentation fault in the core file.

Can you help me at all please?

Everything is great, except that when you use colour it crashes? :)

Sounds like it didn't install correctly. Did you get any warnings during the compile, or any parts of the patch did not install (ie. error message during the patch process)?

okay I have some more info about the problem

I can use the music, grats and q/a channels fine.
Whenver I use a channel other than those listed above OR try to wear/wield/hold a peice of eq with color strings is when the mud crashes. It says 'Segmentation Fault' (core dumped).

I had to manually patch the entire comm.c file with Lope's colour patch.

I have racked my brain so hard I just dunno what to do.
