Just in case people google and hopefully find this to verify that it does work in Linux (at least under this setup).
* Ubuntu, Edgy Eft, 6.10
* CrossOver Office 6 beta 2
* Gnome
* MUSHclient 3.82
* Achaea MUD

Without using WINE? Impressive.
Actually I think that CrossOver is the commercial version of Wine, made by the same people. See www.codeweavers.com
Following on from the questions about Linux, I have booted up my PC using Knoppix boot CDROM, and it comes with Wine. Thus you can boot into Linux and have MUSHclient running under Wine in about 5 minutes (a bit of mucking around running the Wine initial setup).
Once you have Wine installed, as I do on another PC which permanently runs Linux, you can always run MUSHclient without any problems that I have noticed.
I've tried getting Mushclient running under wine and the fonts look blurry. It gives an error when I go to save (perhaps something about auto saving the world information). I also tried this plugin called acs2 for achaea and it spewed out quite an array of errors and crashed loaded it up now and it has acs2 but umm I don't trust it still. Which wine version are you people using and are you using some sort of "courier" font hack like those other people on wine database are doing? Seriously need to post a how-to for that little cheat.
