MUSHclient program won't load

I'm running MUSHclient on Windows XP and suddenly this morning it refuses to load! I've tried opening it through my desktop icon, shortcut icons, through the Start Menu, straight from its C:/Program Files folder! I can't think of what's wrong or what else to do :(

I tried searching the forum to see if anyone else has had a similar problem but I haven't turned up a thing

Do you mean you get an error message (and if so, what is it?), or does it simply seem to start, but you see no window or anything?

I think I have seen this occassionally. Try doing this:

1. Back up any files you want to keep (eg. world files, scripts)
   
2. Uninstall MUSHclient from the Control Panel
   
3. Re-install it.
   
4. Replace any backed-up files, if necessary.

I suspect that somehow the screen location of the main window is being incorrectly remembered as offscreen. Uninstalling it removes all that information which is stored in the Windows Registry.

Also, make sure you have the latest version, to be on the safe side.
