I run MUSHclient on both my desktop and laptop with the same World file and script. I recently upgraded to 3.7 and decided to copy over the files to my laptop afterwords to refresh them. I haven't had a problem with this in the past, however, this time I encountered a hardware I/O error immediately after making the change when MUSHclient tried to load the script.
I assumed at that point that the issue was the fact that the world file had been updated to 3.7, so I upgraded my laptop as well. That didn't resolve the issue though and I'm not sure what could be causing this issue. I didn't see anything about this elsewhere, however, I wanted to check and see if anyone else had encountered this problem.
I actually ended up converting the script and settings into a plug-in and utilizing that on a new world file successfully, so this isn't a major issue for me now, but I'm curious as to what might have caused it.
