Reason for this is that when mushclient runs for a few days, most of the scrollback buffer just gets swapped to a harddisk. Then when I want to make simple change to a trigger, I have to wait about 20 secs for the "calculating size of output buffer" line to disappear before I can do anything.
Ok, this is annoying, but at least it's not harmful. But when I accidentaly press Alt-Enter while in some tight fight, I'm as good as dead.
Other way around this would of course be to just store the number of lines somewhere and don't run through the buffer everytime config screen opens, but I guess there are some serious reasons not to do this, considering it would be the most logical thing a programmer would do. I'll leave that to Nick to decide which one would be less work.
BTW it happens even with small buffers (I tried 5000 lines once), just the lag is a bit shorter. So suggesting to just cut down the number of lines won't work - even the 5000 is way low.
