Change the start screen

How do i change the Smaug start screen to my own?

Ok i found out how to make the start screen,but why does it shrink in the mud??

I don't understand what you mean by "shrink".

Is it a smaller font?
Are the letters too close together?
Does some text get omitted?

In any case these questions should really be in "running the server" section. This is not a question about how to compile the server.

The letters are to close.

It should look the same as when you do it in an editor.

Make sure you are using a fixed-width font in your client, eg FixedSys or Courier.
