Hey,
I'm running 14 worlds at once inside MUSHClient. They are all in constant use and all access 1 .db file that is about 2MB in size. So there's alot going on, on that PC.
The PC specs are:
300mhz Intel
256mb SDRAM
40gb (new, fast) HDD
Rubbish AGP Card
Windows 98SE
It's generally OK, but I just wanted to know if there is anything I should do to speed it up. Having windows XP or 2000 tends to make the PC as slow as anything after 12 hours without reboot.
Do you have any suggestions on how to keep it running smooth? What about making the .db access faster?
