I know I'm new so accept that ahead of time.

I'm using the area editor to create a "house" for the players to enter. This is not a violent game, this is to be a social situation. What do I need to change so the users aren't picking classes and such?

Thanks for your time and Patience :)

OK! I have done some more learning, lol.
MUSH vs. MUD. My problem is now I can't find a MUSH that is as easy to run as ROM was for me (and build with). Any suggestions? PennMUSH isn't working for me plus I'm not seeing a GUI for building, but it is HIGHLY possible and probable that I am missing much. Thanks for any/all help!

Building rooms is something PennMUSH is much better oriented towards. Things like ROM and similar are really designed for building to be done by admins not ordinary players.

PennMUSH doesn't really have a GUI for building, however what you can do is build (or take an existing area) using my Area Editor, and then export as MUSH code. See this link:

The problem is that once built, you cannot edit it in the GUI interface, however this would give a kick-start to getting the rooms built in the first place.
