Is there some way to accomplish this, to get more than just 10 buttons on the activity bar? I understand that they likely wouldn't be accessible using the Ctrl-combos like the first 10, but I'd really like to have the -buttons- if at all possible.

I know you are asking for more buttons, but for now how about opening the activity window, and resizing it and moving the columns around (you can click and drag the column headings) so that it shows what you want, is nice and small, and will hold dozens of worlds. You can then double-click on any name in that window to go to that world, and by having the "new" column visible you can see if there is new activity.

This is going to be one of those times when I feel as blonde as I am. Uhm .... hunh? Sorry. I know that somewhere in the release notes and such, an 'activity window' has been mentioned. But I've no idea what it is, what it looks like, etc. I've never seen the thing. Which I know isn't your problem, except that I've no idea thusly how to do what you're suggesting.

Go to the Display menu -> Activity List (Shift+Ctrl+L). That will show it. Then you can move it around and do what I suggested.

Under Global Preferences (file menu) you can go to Activity tab and check "Open activity window at startup". Then it will always open. It remembers the size and position you last left it at.

The "new" column shows the number of unread lines - that is, lines that arrived since the world was active (at the top). If zero, nothing has happened since you last looked at it. Just keep the New column near the left, and keep an eye on non-zero entries.
