A world that you're disconnected from shows up in green on the activity bar, just like a world that there's new data from.. very annoying and distracting.. is this intentional? Bleh..

I can't reproduce that (in version 3.10 at least).
The intention is that disconnected worlds show up in red.
Can you define the exact steps to reproduce? eg. typing quit, disconnecting via the menu, timing out, etc.

Okay, my monitor settings were screwy... occasionally my monitor will go all weird and certain colors will become distorted. It hadn't happened in a while and usually goes away after a reboot, but in this case it took two... so never mind :)
