I notice that today we have reached another milestone on this forum - 400,000 views. A "view" means that someone has looked at one of the threads (subjects) on the forum (not just the index pages).
Here are the stats right now ...
The last milestone was on 30th August 2002, when there were 200,000 views. So, in about 6 months a further 200,000 viewings have occurred. This is almost twice the rate of views between April and August 2002 (100,000 views in 5 months).
Since we had 200,079 views in 201 days that represents an average of 995 views per day in that period.
The number of registered users of the forum has continued to climb, from 812 in August 2002 to 1,174 today - an increase of 362 in 6 months - roughly two new registered users a day, on average.
