Hi yes, I need help. Im very busy, but if someone could email me a tutorial or website for an almost complete newbie on Smaug stuff. A mud can be very time consuming to admin, even for a seasoned vet who knows the ropes. You yourself say that you are very busy, which is apparant since you didn't take the time to read the FAQ's on this website, search the forums or even do a simple search on the web. Perhaps MUD administration isn't the best way to go about filling your need for a hack and slash adventure. However, if you still wish to do so, take my advice and search these forums for other such newbie admin type questions. As well as read the FAQs here and on other websites that are quite easy to find.
First, I agree with Boborak. However if you just want to have fun on your own, you can get the SMAUG server from this site running pretty easily and play hack and slash on your own for hours. I did that when I was first learning about it.
