Startup

I've got some big problems with startup. I'm using the latest cygwin and I've got everything installed including make, gcc, and all the goodies. I still have a problem with startup though. Whenever I type 'startup' I get:

$ startup
BASH: startup: command not found

And if I type './startup' I get:

$ ./startup
: bad interpreter: No such file or directory

I can't seem to figure out how to solve this, so an help would be appreciated. Also, is a makefile supposed to be included in your ROM for Windows?

Try: tcsh startup

There is a very recent post about this subject in the SMAUG section.

As for the makefile, the ROM for Windows was for the MS C++ compiler. If you want to use it with Cygwin, just use the standard ROM download, which is designed for Unix. The file Rom24b6_mxp.tar.gz from my downloads area has a Makefile in it, and also supports MXP.
