I don't have experience whatsoever with lua. I'm willing to learn, but I'm basically looking for someone to do it for me. Terrible thing to say, but I've been browsing the Gammon forums forever and trying to make sense of all the ways I could do it myself and .. nada.

I play Lusternia and I want a miniwindow that captures all the people in the room, including the ones who are shrouded or otherwise hidden. I saw some gorgeous examples in the 'examples of what you can do with miniwindows' thread, but I couldn't find any actual links to the code itself ;=;

So .. can anyone link me to some video tutorials or bare bone miniwindow templates? I need the 'miniwindows for dummies' guide, if it exists [hopefully].

This tutorial should help: http://www.gammon.com.au/forum/?id=9626

It shows your exits in a miniwindow, but changing it to show who is in the room shouldn't be too hard.
