Hi I have purchased a modified Le Clerc loom (jack type with sectional warp) modified by David Thorp (deceased engineer of New Zealand) It uses a pre wif program and I have a loom controller with solanoids and its electronic specifications and air compressor. It is semi automatic. I have been informed by Ann Albers USA site who had a Thorp loom that is it is not windows friendly and I would need to have the loom controller modified. I want modern software rather than David Thorp's DOS program that is on a very old computer. I don't have the old floppy disc. I am looking for someone to modify the loom controller for a compatible program. I live in Melbourne Victoria. Can anyone help? Thanking you Rosslyn Lyall

Unfortunately the Weavedraft program I wrote about 15 years ago is no longer supported. In fact, I have lost the code for the program during numerous PC and Mac upgrades.

All I can suggest is contacting or advertising on a weaving-oriented magazine or web site.

Alternatively, maybe someone interested in electronics might be able to help. Try the Silicon Chip magazine which is produced locally. A letter to the Editor, or classified ad, might produce results.
