Unable To Resolve Host Name (new)

Ok, I saw there was some similar threads from 2003, with the general conclusion that there was some kind of virus going around.

This is different. I try to connect to String Theory (stringtheory.isunlimited.net), and it gives me this error

Unable to resolve host name for "stringtheory.isunlimited.net" code 11004 (Valid name, no data record of requested type)

I know its up, because the only time I get this error is when I'm tethering off my Droid2. My question is, why does it do this? And is there a way to work around this problem, or is just a limitation of my phone that I'm going to have to live with?

Any help is greatly appreciated, and I honestly thank anyone who takes the time to read this message. This might be a stupid question, but oh well, I can't figure it out.

Thanks.

A quick Google seems to indicate that isunlimited.net may have connection problems from time to time.

However I managed to connect to stringtheory.isunlimited.net port 1407:

Welcome to String Theory MUX
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"connect <name> <password>" connects you to an existing character.
"connect guest" connects you to a guest account if one is prepared.
  "create <name> <password>" creates a new character.

"WHO" tells you who is logged in to the game (case sensitive).
"QUIT" exits the game and saves your character.

Once logged on, "help" gives help on specific commands, functions, and
special topics. Other 'help' commands include "+help" and "news".

Welcome to the world of String Theory MUX. Have fun!
If you need help, just ask somebody (type a double quote mark and then type
your question, like this:

Since the error was in resolving the domain name, you may want to try the IP address. The one I got was:

IP: 66.212.25.125 port: 1407

I don't know if they change IP addresses - some service providers do frequently, some don't. That address might get you connected for a while perhaps. Or just try again with the full name later on, the problem seems to have gone away.

I tried that IP address and got a new error-

Unable to connect, code = 10065 (No route to host)

Error occured during: connecting phase.

I've had my phone about 3 months, and have never been able to connect while tethering. I'm now pretty sure the problem is on my end. I know when I switch between my home network and tethering while at work I have to switch between auto-detect proxy settings and manual in my Firefox; I haven't been able to find a menu in MUSHclient to make sure it changes too.

Thank you for your time, though.

MUSHclient doesn't have an auto-detect proxy setting feature.
