Question about logging commands/Command history/omitting commands

My goal is simple, but I am having trouble achieving it.

I want to create an editable log of commands that I sent to the MUD. I would also like to omit/muffle specific commands that I send to the MUD from the file.

I have been using a standard log file, and unchecking log output, while checking log commands. Everything is fine there, I just can't seem to find a clear way to omit certain commands from the log. Triggers have the ability to omit things from logs, but can they match on commands instead of MUD output?

If anyone knows a way to log a long string of commands (only) while leaving out a few selected (by me) commands, I would appreciate a response.

Thanks in advance.

Aliases match on what you type. Make an alias to match what you want to omit from the log, check the "omit from log" flag, and then send %0 (whatever it was you typed) to the MUD.
