| | Ok may sound like a old or dumb question, but the Font in MUSH reminds me alot of DOS and so I would like to change it to a different font that more suits what i use the program for. I have the font installed in windows but i cannot seem to find an option to change the font. Is there one and if so where is it or how do I change the font? | | Top |

But there's a reason it uses Fixedsys (both DOS and MUDs). It keeps things lined up, so for MUDs that use maps or "drawings" it comes out correct. If you change the font it may smush things together and become unreadable, depending on the font. |

| | Personally, I like Lucida Console. It's a fixed-width font, just like Fixedsys, but looks a bit better in my opinion. |

| I personally like the following two fonts:
- Dina, which is free and can be found at: http://www.donationcoder.com/Software/Jibz/Dina/index.html
- Monaco, which is from Apple and I believe free. It can be found at http://www.gringod.com/wp-upload/MONACO.TTF
The latter is taller but reads really pleasantly, while the former is very nice all around too. It's a matter of preference, really.
There are some other monospaced fonts (= all characters equally wide) listed at: http://lowing.org/fonts/ | | Top |
