| I see a fair number of posts where someone has put in [code] into their post, and it looks like they intended to use 'forum codes' but forgot to check the 'forum codes' checkbox.
The forum will now automatically turn forum codes on for a new post, if any of the following sequences are found in it:
- [code]
- [mono]
- [quote]
- [ul]
- [ol]
- \[code\]
- \[mono\]
- \[quote\]
The last three are for the cases (like in this post) where you might want to use the word [code] in a post, and anticipate the forum code feature by putting it in as \[code\] in the first place.
If you find this happening, and did not want forum codes, simply edit the post and un-check the forum codes checkbox. |
