This forum seems to be getting a new user registration every hour or so, from some highly-suspect web sites (eg. ones with "handcream", "wrinklecream", "lawyers" in the email address).

In addition, quite a few new registrations are not even from valid email addresses (the confirmation email we send to them bounces).

I have deleted around 300 accounts a few moments ago.

In future, accounts which have no posts, and to which the account-holder has never logged in, are likely to be deleted 48 hours after they are created.

In future, accounts with no posts may be deleted. If you want to join the forum and ask a question, great! Welcome. If you are just joining to have your wrinkle cream email address listed as one of our "users" then take your business somewhere else, thanks.

To protect your account from deletion, please post a message after you join (not one advertising your hand cream!). Assuming your message is relevant to this site then you will be considered a genuine user.
